Who and What We Treat

Myofascial release therapy (MFR) addresses the structural adhesions (and chronic holding patterns) that can create or exacerbated pain. Drugs, injections, and nerve bocks are often ways to make pain, the body’s signal that something is wrong. MFR can reduce the crushing force of the fascial which can actually fix the problem and allow your body to function in a healthy, less painful way.

One core principle of Myofascial Release Therapy is that the source of pain is rarely the site of the symptoms. For example, neck, back, and jaw pain can all originate from a misaligned pelvis. MFR therapists scan the entire body for restrictions which are often the cause of your symptoms.

Because fascial restrictions are the source of so many symptoms, MFR can often treat disfunction and in other cases, it can augment existing therapies. Some ailments include:

Fibromyalgia
Chronic Pain Syndrome
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Depression & Anxiety
Pre and Post Natal
Breast Health: post-surgery scar therapy, post-mastectomy,
dense breast tissue, lump reduction, & lactation improvement.
Pelvic Floor
Incontinence
Cramping and Menstrual Pain
Compartment Syndrome

Back Pain
Neck Pain
Headaches including migraines
Jaw Pain (TMJ)
Shoulder Pain including frozen shoulder
Scar Restrictions
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Postural Alignment
Plantar Fasciitis
Athletic Performance Improvement
Post-Surgical Rehab

MFR can augment existing medical therapies by allowing medication and nutrition to reach injured or diseased areas of the body. Additionally, MFR allows the body to flush toxins and cellular waste.
