Nicole Llorens Monteserin

Nicole is our Front Desk Coordinator, helping with all your scheduling and logistical needs before, during, and after your visits. She is a certified yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist, with a background in nonprofit management and administration.

Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, she worked as a researcher and coalition coordinator in Chicago’s southwest side with a focus on community health and alternative food systems initiatives (link to research) (link to coalition work). After completing her yoga teacher training in 2016, she decided to make a change and spent the next six months with family in her native Puerto Rico while teaching Adaptive/Chair Yoga at the VA Hospital in San Juan. Moving to Portland in late 2016, she taught hatha and restorative yoga classes at the Portland Rock Gym and Radiant Yoga in Milwaukie.

Now graduated from Oregon School of Massage and licensed as of September 2021, Nicole has been working part time as a CA/LMT in a chiropractic clinic. She is excited to continue learning and broadening her experience while supporting the team at Portland MFR, as myofascial release has had a big impact in her own recovery from injury and path towards greater healing.

Outside of work, she enjoys catching live music shows, dancing, hula hooping and flow arts, exploring the outdoors, reading poetry, watching independent and international films, practicing foreign language skills, and snuggling her two fur-babies.
